Peri Peri Chicken Burger

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons chilli flakes (Add only if you want more spice)

1cup of Impresso's premium peri-peri mayonnaise

3 cloves garlic crushed or grated
Juice of 1 lime

1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

2 teaspoons oregano

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper to taste

4 large boneless, skinless chicken thighs/ 4 medium sliced breasts

1 large onion, thin sliced
STEPS

Mix all the spices, juices and sauces (EXCEPT the mayonnaise) ex together in a large bowl. Then add chicken and coat each piece with marinade. (You can do this in a zipper bag too)

Marinate the chicken for 1 hour in the fridge

Heat the frying pan for 2 minutes over high heat and put some oil. When the oil is hot, then place the chicken flat on the pan and cook for 5 minutes on each side (depending on thickness of chicken, you can check when it is done and remove it from the pan and rest

Generously apply Impresso premium Peri-Peri mayonnaise on the bread and place the chicken pieces on top of it.

Put other veggies on top of the chicken and your burger is ready

Serve along with sides like fries, coleslaw, etc as per your choice! Enjoy!

Top chicken over the tomatoes.

Place cheese over chicken.

Spread mayo on cut sides of top halves; place over the sandwiches and enjoy.
