Spinach Lasagne

INGREDIENTS

1 Jar of Impresso's Pasta sauce
1 pack of Lasagne – semi cooked
400 g ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
2 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese
2 cups of chopped fresh spinach leaves washed
1 cup of chopped fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese

STEPS

Preheat oven to 180°C

In an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish, spread 3/4 cup of Impresso Pasta Sauce evenly across the bottom of the pan. Layer half of lasagne in an even layer, followed by half of the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of Mozzarella, 1 cup spinach and 1/2 cup fresh basil. Repeat with a second layer of pasta sauce, lasagne, ricotta, Mozzarella, spinach and basil. Then finish with a final layer of pasta sauce, lasagne, pasta sauce and mozzarella

Cover pan with aluminium foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and begins to brown around the edge

Remove and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and the remaining fresh basil

Serve warm and Enjoy

Enjoy with choice of your salad or your preffered meat on the side!
